Good stuff! :D
(1 of 3) Sound Check Feedback on Pearceosullivan’s track you’ll wanna:
A really vivid creation! It feels organic and floating.
My feedback on the production:
*The intro part works fine until the first percussion comes in. They are way to low in volume and also quite muddy. I’d take a round with the eq and compressor on them. From 1.06 the track sound gets a bit distorted. It might be solved by lowering the volume on the bass. :
(2 of 3) Sound Check Feedback on Pearceosullivan’s track you’ll wanna:
*From 1.17 the shaker/percussion feels a bit dry and dull. Try to work a bit with delay and also a compressor to get them a bit more in front. Not too much though.
*The same with the beat from 1.24. Eq and compressor, especially on the snare.
*The piano sound in the middle part could be less static by working with automation. The effects I would use for this is delay, reverb and the fakie.
(3 of 3) Sound Check Feedback on Pearceosullivan’s track you’ll wanna:
*Most of the elements are centered in your mix. To create more space and air I would pan out the lighter parts in the production.
*The strings that are introduced at 2.26 could also use some more motion. Pan, delay and some compression.
*With these tweaks you will get a rich and nice production. I’m looking forward to hear the track in full when you have the chance to also record the vocals. Good luck and keep producing! :D
I like this a lot! Good job 😊
