Kosmas Lapatas studied Piano with internationally renowned Dimitri Toufexis, Advanced Theory with acclaimed John Christofillos, and Musicology.
He holds Soloist Diploma (1st Prize from the Ministry of Culture), diplomas in Singing, Harmony, Counterpoint and Fugue, graduate and postgraduate degrees in Musicology.
He also studied Modern Piano with Marcos Alexiou, Music Technology & Production with Orton & Lewis, and Music Therapy with Andrews & Alexander.
Since 1998 he has taught at the American College of Greece, Ziridi Schools, Tsettos Schools, and various prestigious Conservatories. Since 2006 he is Music Therapist at The Society of Social Psychiatry and Mental Health.
He has appeared with the Atticus, Athens, Tirana, EPA 3, NSO & ERT orchestras, and has given recitals in music halls such as Pallas, Parnassos, Leonteios, Mercouri, Minotis, and various Cultural Centres all over Greece.
