thanks rob :)
Yeah! There are a lot of subgenres of punk: punk rock, melodic hardcore, punk pop.. Mae probably pops up as a pop punk band (even if it´s pop rock). Keep up the good work, Hiroyo!
At least i was correct about Red right? lol.....I didn't know pop rock was i thing. I just said that Mae was punk because their stuff usually pops up on punk rock stations so i just assumed they were punk.
well i can tell i still need some work on this lol but i feel its a good try and thats all i need i might try this again later and see if i can do better thanks to all the people who gave feedback and all the people trying to give this the right genre.
@Rob The BeatProbably better off learning guitar and importing recordings.Similarly, synthetic saxes sound strange, so I've considered recording myself on sax. (Look at that alliteration)
To: little hollow: just to add some to the discussion, the first band you posted (Mae) is pop-rock, not punk. Punk would be The Clash or Sex Pistols.
Indeed the Hiro´s song is not pure rock, I woulnd´t know in what genre put this song, ¿Pop metal, maybe? Anyway, it´s a good try, Hiro. And Soundation is the worst to compose rock songs (specially the drums and the distorted guitar synth, that are terrible). Keep up the good work.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZkCtmPHpT4 and this is hard rock (at least i think......again lol) You also gave me an idea of what my next solo project should be ;)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Ntj70vbKEI so this is what is considered punk, (i think)
Like the main thing i listen to on a regular basis is hard rock, punk rock, and some other forms of that. And this ain't rock lol
