I intend to change that by helping those people get to grips with the basics, I will also be giving a few tips targeted at those who already have a good understanding and have to help really improve there musical depth, such as some really neat key changes (Key changes are barely used on soundation), chromaticism, blues notes, extended chords, countermelodies and many more, NEW!!!!: KRackEd EkHo had the idea of having a communal account so people can see the ideas of music theory for themselves as well as getting useful ideas. the user name is 'DusksMusicTheoryProgram@gmail.com' and the password is 'duskmusicuk' feel free to add new projects and test your ideas for others to see, I'll be putting a few things up for others to use and get ideas from. the only things you cannot do is delete projects, change the password or do anything on the community with this account, this account is purely for use in the studio. if anyone does otherwise the account will be shut down, so please obey by the rules. The Basics: there are 12 notes on the key board A, A-sharp/B-flat, B, C, C-sharp/D-flat, D, D-sharp/E-flat, E, F, F-sharp/G-flat, G, G-sharp/A-flat, check the link to see how these relate to the piano roll https://www.ehowtoplaypiano.com/piano-lessons/piano-notes-for-songs/ ...but you only use 7 at a time because there are only seven in each key, e.g. C,D,E,F,G,A,B,(C) an octave is C1 to C2 as C2 is the 8th note from C1 (as there are seven in the scale) The gap between to note directly adjacent to each other (e.g. B and C or D and D-sharp) is called a semitone, 2 semitones are called a tone (e.g. the gap between C and D is a tone, check the piano roll or link to see for yourself) Major Keys: the pattern of these tones and semitones for a major scale is T,T,S,T,T,T,S (e.g. C,D,E,F,G,A,B,(C) for C major or F,G,A,B-flat,C,D,E, for F major you simply pick a major key and to work out the scale for that key you use the pattern T,T,S,T,T,T,S to find all the notes. Non-Top Users Who Deserve More League!

Hey guys! So in the struggle to gain popularity, I stumbled across a few people who are not top users, but deserve at least to be known. This is the League for people who are rising stars, to maybe just get them a few more views and likes, and make themselves known. (AEG, I have known since I started Soundation.) There is a set of criteria to join. If you think you fit these criteria, ask me if you can join. Most or all will be just invited without having to ask on here. The Criteria: (1) That you use your own beats and music (Meaning no studio loops in your modern songs.) (2) That you have at least 15 Followers. (3) That you Follow every member of the group! The last one seems ridiculous, but that's a method by which we each gain popularity! Every new member that joins, you must follow them or give a good reason to not follow them. (Spiritual, Morale, etc.) Post any tracks you want on here, but try to keep it as your most popular ones. If I notice that any of you are not upholding the rules I will notify you, then if you do not begin to follow them you will be kicked out. :) (Rule #3 is honor system!) And keep out old WIP's! if you have new updates to an old song posted on here, delete them to help me a little. I will delete them if I find them, don't worry you won't be kicked out! I will then give you guys three weeks (19th June) to vote for your favourite track. Then there will only be three remaining tracks (until next year), first, second and third place. *Rules:* 1. Criticism is allowed, but no putting anybody down, no matter what! 2. Swearing is not banned, but please don't overdo it. 3. Hello everyone. WELCOME TO THE NEW GROUP OF SOUNDATION, THIS WILL NOT BE A SIMPLE CONTEST, AS ITS NAME THE DESCRIBES AS THE FESTIVAL THAT WILL GIVE WINNING OS. TO CHOOSE THE BEST "SOUNDATION AT THIS FESTIVAL DJ' NEED HELP AND HERE AND SELECTED 4 OF MY BEST FRIENDS FOR THAT AND SON: ROIX. JASPER. OZI! E 454. PHOENIX. ANGESTAR. (MY PERSON). WE WILL BE WORKING FOR THIS AND ACHIEVE SOMETHING INCREDIBLE. TO THEN, THEM REGLAS 1) THIS CONTEST WILL HAVE 3 STAGES OR EDITIONS, THE FIRST IS "BEST SONG OF NEW YEAR" (THAT ESPESARA STARTING FROM 5 OF JANUARY TILL THE 5 OF FEBRUARY). THE SECOND IS "BEST SONGS OF SUMMER" (OF THE 5 OF JULY TO AUGUST) AND THE LAST IS "BEST HALLOWEEN SONGS" (FROM 5 OCTOBER TO DECEMBER 5). (2) THOSE USERS ONLY MAY PUBLISH AN OF THEIR TRACKS, OF NOT BE THUS, ALL THEM SONGS THAT PUBLIC WILL BE DELETED AND IF IT RETURNS TO MAKE WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. ONLY 100 SONGS FOR EACH USER, BE RECEIVED THEN THE TOP 50 CHOSEN BY THE JURY IN PRIVATE DISCUSSION WILL BE SELECTED. AFTER CHOOSING THE TOP 50 WILL MOVE ON TO THE 20 SONGS. HERE WILL BE DIFFERENT, THE JURY WILL CHOOSE 10 AND USERS VOTE FOR THE OTHER 10, TO FINISH WITH THE BEST 10 SONGS THAT PASS TO BE IN THE SEMI-FINAL OF THE CONTEST. THE SEMIFINAL WILL BE SIMPLE AND VERY COMPETITIVE, HERE THE USERS AGAIN VOTE FOR THEIR FAVORITE SONGS BUT WILL ALSO HAVE TO DISCUSS THE GOOD AND BAD OF THESE SONGS, THE 5 BEST SLOPES HAVING LESS CRITICISM AND PRAISE WILL BE THE WINNERS AND WILL BE IN THE FINAL. IN THE GREAT END OF ALL THEM STAGES, WILL HAVE THAT MAKE A GREAT CHALLENGE, VAN TO PLACE THE FIRST PART AND THE "DROP" OF THEIR BEST 3 SONGS THAT HAVE ECHO THEM FINALISTAS. IS A "MASUHP" OF THEIR BEST SONGS INCLUDING THE SONG THAT USED FOR THE CONTEST. WHICH ACHIEVED THIS AND THAT MATCH THE THREE SONGS WILL BE THE WINNER. (3) ALL THEM USERS PARTICIPATE, INCLUDING THE JURY BUT THE SONGS OF THEM SWORN TO WILL BE JUSGADAS BY ANOTHER JURY, I.E., EXAMPLE "THE SONG OF ROIX WILL BE JUSGADA BY JASPER" OR VICE VERSA. (4) FOR THE SEMIFINAL, ONLY OKAY TO COMMENT OTHER USERS OF THESE SONGS, USERS WHO COMMENT ON YOUR OWN SONG IS NOT COUNTED AS A VOTE. (5) THE REQUIREMENTS ARE STRONG IN THE END WILL HAVE A WEEK FOR PUBLISH HIS "MASHUP" ALL AND IF NOT IS WHAT IS EXPECTED OPEN CHANGES BUT NOTHING SIMPLE. (6) USERS TO PUBLISH REMIXES, WILL HAVE TO LEAVE A COMMENT WITH THE LINK TO THE ORIGINAL SONG, BUT THE SONG WILL BE REMOVED. HELLO TO ALL, FOR THIS ISSUE AND DECIDED TO CHANGE IT TO MAKE IT MORE EMOTIVE. FIRST They will have to publish a song of inscription because they will only be 100 AND THERE ARE MANY MORE, the best 100 songs determined by the jury and the most voted by the public will be classified.
