@I Awake Thanks for the feedback. :) Pt 1: Yea, I still need to get more acquainted with the EQ & compressor. I took out the old beat & utilized some from the "purchased sounds" I had. Not quite the drum expert either. Pt 2: This was actually a bit of a struggle, since the vocal samples tended to have like a guitar strum and/or other noises going that I wanted tucked away. It was difficult trying to separate the sounds (I was still on free acc, so no para EQ). Pt 3: Yep, gotta get on the mixing. This was indeed interesting, & I adored making it. Thanks again. Much appreciated. ☺
(1 of 3) Sound Check Feedback on Keylime Pie’s track CTT Heart of a Hologram:
Since it was part of CTTC I know where some of the sounds come from. I think it’s a really creative take on the original! :)
My feedback on the production:
*I would really put some time into getting a proper punch in the beats. The drums are really low and muddy now. Eq and compressor on each element is recommended.
(2 of 3) Sound Check Feedback on Keylime Pie’s track CTT Heart of a Hologram:
*The composition and sounds blend well together. I would work on getting the vocal sample a bit more in the front. Again eq and compressor. Perhaps some reverb on it too.
(3 of 3) Sound Check Feedback on Keylime Pie’s track CTT Heart of a Hologram:
*The arrangement of the full compositions works and keeps the interest up all the way.
When it comes to the quality of this track it’s a lot about the mixing actually. Some more automation and panning of elements would for sure make it more alive. Finally I must say it’s a really interesting production!

@VCNT_MND & @Nova I myself haven't played need for speed, but I might check out the soundtrack.
