Nope I agree with using the loop drums because they're so much easier, although for like the dubstep speeding up one that I still use the drum kit for and it's not too difficult because it's just a matter of doubling the speed of the drums until you've hit that constant drumming pace.
not really, think of it as sampling. because thats exactly what it is. It's recycling sounds to create something new.. as long as your idea is original. Take hip hop, lo-fi and daft punk for example. Nothing but good vibes. If you're just taking samples and posting them as they are.. then that would basically be reposting someone's sounds haha. But dont worry bout using them loops my guy. I started with loops and soon started making my own sounds. Loops to me we're considered 'making new music' in my head at the time but i was only 12. Iv'e been making original stuff now but it's cool to see
Using loops are great. Too bad my new antivirus blocked me to use free audio files on soundation, but good thing I can use only free midis and import midi. Still tho feels bad not being able to use audio files :(
If they are completely unedited and just arranged in order, it does not take much skill at all, so in a way yes. If you use them vary creatively however to the point where only using loops becomes a hindrance, then you've got your self something impressive. Check out Intro by Abstract, that was made with only loops.
Well... if use some of those beat loops by experimenting with pitch, tempo, delay, reverb, and equilizing of those loops to add a layering effect to some of the beats that you make, then it could work out. I've done it in many of my tracks, specifically using the 95_Beat_DjSpooky.wav and 95_Beat_JamOn.wav loops.
