Newbies Corner
Hej! Ciao! Hola! Hello! We see you've found the new Soundation's Newbies Corner. :)Tell everyone a little bit about yourself. Where you're from, what's your audio background, who are your musical heroes, what are your dream collabs. Feel free to post a question here if you're curious about anything - there are no stupid questions. And if you are a Soundation pro, please don't hesitate to offer your experience and wisdom. We all had to start somewhere!
Lowkey's Group of Wanna-Be Video Game Makers
Want to be a video game maker but have a lack of music talent? Head down here for creation, publication and even inspiration. Here, you can share your music you may want to use. Some Rules(Because everyone's gotta have them): 1. Mild swears are allowed but nothing serious! 2.Songs can be published but not copied(As in, don't claim somebody's song as yours. Otherwise, we''d have a case of copyright infringement on our hands)! 3.Don't Spam 4.This is a group of general fun. Don't spoil it for anyone! 5.Remember this is nothing serious but just a group of people who want to share their ideas with the world 6.Have fun

Cheapskates (free users unite!)
Think you need a premium account to make good music on here? Nah that's rubbish, I am a free users and think soundation is great without any of the paid stuff. So if you want to show off what you can do with a free account join now and post your stuff. Have fun and share your music! Edit: Soundation are making it harder and harder for new users, from restricting the number of instrument tracks in each project to removing automation. This is really unfortunate. All I can suggest for those who miss these features but do not want to pay a premium for them is that you give audiotool a try.
Shout Outs
Want to give someone a high-five for making progress on their music production journey? Care to give us tips on feature-worthy songs that fall off our radar? Or perhaps give a shout out to some submissions that don't make it to the top of our competitions? Here's a group for a virtual pat on the back and all things wholesome. Post links to tracks or users on the comment section below. We might consider featuring tracks recommended here on top of the tracks posted in "Share Your Sounds" (#music genre) groups on the Community. Terms: • Do not recommend yourself!• Recommended tracks have to be made using Soundation. • Please follow our Community Guidelines. Failure to do so will result in a ban. Updated: 9 September 2019
Christmas contest
Christmas is finally over!Thank you for all your submissions! Excuse the delayed announcement. Unfortunately, there were a lot of songs that weren't made using Soundation or couldn't be verified so some of the runner-ups were disqualified.Congratulations to the winners, expect a magic upgrade and a DM.Winners1st placeHyphen - Jingle Bells remixHyphen was a bit OP in this contest, he’s had his share of features and it’s surprising he’s still squeezing things out on a free account. It’s time bro. Very smooth production and a nice play on the jingle bells melody. 2nd placeJOBEATZ2 - Carol of the beatz Hard trap beat with some Xmas elements in it, the mix is a bit off and it could need some more dynamics and switch-ups, but all in all, well played. 3rd placeXASTOLIAM - ChroniclesVery well-arranged and full-bodied production. It would have landed second place if it had some Christmas in it. Mix tip: tune your compression wisely, dial it back a little bit and don’t go ham on it all the way through - the end result will sound a lot more professional. Thanks Moon for putting this together!
