*at your own pace. You'll learn much if you stay a while too. It's really a fun thing to do. If you want ANY help at any time, PM me, or any of the many users here. I'm sure they would love to help you. Just like I would :D It's always cool to see newcomers finding this as a hobby
* Also, don't be afraid to try new things and mix styles of genres with other genres. Like, trap drops with a chill intro or something. Experiment with different genres so you can learn what sounds are used. Don't worry about trying to make something so "good" that you forget to add your touch and style of what you like. And make sure you are on key :D it sounds really hurt when off key stuff comes into the song :P so yea. If you want to get into this as a hobby, take your time, learn the studio, and work hard. And don't try EVERYTHING at once. Experiment one at a time with different things*
1) learn to make your own stuff instead of using the premade sounds and midi (it's a lot better BCUZ, you learn how stuff works and you don't get sounds like the 50,000 other songs on this site :P) 2) study the music that you like. learn how to make the sounds that you hear and like. try recreating them, then change them up to the way you want it. or don't. it's not a must. but having your own style aint bad either ;) 3) learn basic music theory, so.... key, timing, and rythm . I don't know how much you know already, but if you start learning piano, MUCH of that comes in handy...*
