Ladies and gentleman I present to you the very first official record label to come out! The Music Geek Collective (WE ARE NOT IN ANY WAY AFFILIATED WITH SOUNDATION OR POWERFX) YES A REAL RECORD LABEL! A legally copyrighted label where all artists have official contracts and get paid for their hard work! A label that gives all the artists a platform where they can finally live their dream of building a fanbase and getting their music distributed to a worldwide audience!! The artists on this label so far include... Xephyr Cyclosa Tom Bellinger Kracked Ekho Sam Pugh Foresight And of course BASS4ROG the founder himself. But that isn't all!... WE ARE STILL LOOKING FOR MORE PEOPLE! :) We are looking for more talented artists and interns that are interested in working for the label! If you are someone that is heavily skilled in graphic design, social media marketing, or are interested in becoming a signed artist PM BASS4ROG, post a track, and join the movement! :D But as you can imagine. With any big vision there also comes a lot of start up costs. There's the cost of lawyers, copyrighting, licensing, business contracts, distribution, music videos, graphic design etc.. Cheapskates (free users unite!)

Think you need a premium account to make good music on here? Nah that's rubbish, I am a free users and think soundation is great without any of the paid stuff. So if you want to show off what you can do with a free account join now and post your stuff. Have fun and share your music! Edit: Soundation are making it harder and harder for new users, from restricting the number of instrument tracks in each project to removing automation. This is really unfortunate. All I can suggest for those who miss these features but do not want to pay a premium for them is that you give audiotool a try.

The Feedback Group

This group is made for aspiring Soundation users who would like feedback on their tracks. If you don't get much attention with your tracks, you can always come here to brush up on your skills and learn from the community! Rules: -NO TEASING/BULLYING OTHER USERS. This should be an obvious one, but some people simply don't follow this rule, especially online. So, please, don't be disrespectful to other users. All we want is room for improvement! -JOIN, JOIN, JOIN! Okay, technically this isn't a rule, but if this group is to thrive, we need both types of members: the type that wants feedback, and the type that analyzes the tracks in this group. Whichever type of user you are, join this group to benefit everyone here! -DON'T FEEL BAD ABOUT "NEGATIVE" COMMENTS: The reason I put negative in quotes is because THERE WILL NOT BE ANY NEGATIVE COMMENTS. However, if someone criticizes your track a little too harshly, don't feel bad. You shouldn't take the comment to heart, but you should try to improve in whatever area you don't feel confident about. -ANYONE CAN REVIEW EACH OTHER'S TRACKS!! This rule is definitely a good one. I am just a humble moderator. You members are much more musically capable, and I suggest you put that capability to use (not that you guys haven't already :D). That's all!
