the thing is, that its hard to play lush voicings with one hand, so if i play them lower, since they are compacted into one hand, it sounds muddy if i play them low.
Oh i see. well we good then?
I hate to drag this conversation out further, but what I meant with the lack of "chords" is that they are there, they are just in too high of an octave to really resonate and give emotion, they just kinda clutter up the melody. (And don't take my feedback personally, if I sound harsh and pretentious, it is because I am blatantly stating my feedback, rather than embellishing it to waste time and space.)
I would like to improve
I think you have misunderstood. This is literally me playing the piano. There are chords, if you noticed them, and last time I checked only 8-9 notes fit the key of C minor. I’m just trying to understand why you critiqued it like you did, considering everything you said was not negative. Things like, a lot of the same notes, and no underlying chords. There were chords there, and like I said, 8-9 notes in the key signature. I’m confused as why this didn’t impress you, because all the feedback you stated wasn’t helpful.
I think you are missing the point here, I did not ask you to change your music for my benefit. Like I said, I criticized it based on my own subjective opinion. You can acknowledge my feedback without conforming to it.
Music will not always change because it doesn’t match your expectations. Too bad.
Ok, just so you do know, I’m not the best at piano or music at all. There are hundreds of thousands of people who would blow me out of the water if they recorded themselves. Idc if it’s not at a level high enough to impress you. It’s music. Simple is good wouldn’t you say?
I understand that the track was not trying to impress me specifically, I just critiqued it based on my own subjective opinion.
Did you listen to the whole thing by the way?
