What I have also done in grooves like this, is use something like the drummachine and make transitions.
Things like a few snare hits followed by a crash while transitioning from one clip to another. If done right, it can really flow and it adds a little more flash to the song.
Well, if you would like feedback, I would say that this is pretty good! I would highly recommend that you familiarize yourself with the virtual instruments, as with a groove like this, one could make some pretty neat melodies. I myself have toyed with a very similar groove, (that I have not published) and I can't stress enough how important and powerful the virtual instruments can be. In fact, so far, on my channel, I have made everything on the virtual instruments, never once using the pre-recorded drum loops or melodies. You should really look into those instruments. :D
