Acually, I am trying to celebrate every 10 followers! You're right though, 100 is a bigger milestone.

I just want to say congrats on 90!! Also why are celebrating 90 (not that that is wrong) when you are so close to 100? I am just thinking 100 is usually more of a milestone then 90.

Acually, I have never made a dubstep song in my life. I just don't have the gift.

Have you ever made any Dubstep songs in the past?

And that was the question I was expecting. I am experimenting in making original MIDI, and have two WIPs that use them. However, for most of my tracks I'm kinda lazy in making them (okay, maybe that was a slight understatement). I do modify the loops a lot too. However, a lot of people tend to underestimate the loops, and that's why I use them. (I'm not pointing fingers here, so don't worry) Lots of people think that loops are unoriginal and boring. To me, they just help you focus on the instrument. And with the right instrument, those loops turn into a decent song.

Why do you use premade midi instead of making original melodies?

As for other instruments, the woodwind and string instruments generally work well for long stretches of a single note. The brass can be good for any position except the long stretches. The synths are good for pretty much any role. Those are all I know, maybe I can think of more later.

Well, in my opinion the most important thing in music is harmonization. It's the difference between noise and music (by NO MEANS am I saying anyone here makes noise instead of music). IF your track doesn't harmonize well, then it will flop. Another important thing for music is to stick with a single theme. Sometimes, I come up with the name of the song before I actually finish it. Then I mold the song around the name. Don't be afraid to modify the samples! And finally, don't be afraid to try out some absurd combinations of instruments! The presets of GM-2 and VA Synth work very well together!

Any tips for someone just starting out with music? Your tracks are really good, and.. well, all I can do is play piano (and I'm 100% self-taught with that so yay me). It's kinda bland though. So.. any tips for things other than piano? XD
