@ChordsBoy Well I wasn't necessarily just speaking about haters. You also have the over-defensive elitists and those who make, *Ahem* "art" (though I guess that kind of audience/fanbase is more towards games, books, movies, and TV series rather than music).

Well, even if I were to have a million follows, I wouldn't think of my content any differently. But yeah, if for every 300 followers I have one hater *ahemoscarcough*, then I'm okay with that lel

I have mixed feelings about publicity. On one hand, people like your stuff, on the other hand, you become more self-conscious about what you have to offer. Also, when followings start to get particularly large, they tend to generate a negative fanbase side.

But comments are nice in that they are the most varying form of response and very individualized rather than a unanimous function like likes for example.
