I think it would be possible to have an edm song with a very spooky feel tho. You could try using some high pitched and darker sounding instruments, detuned paino, music box, etc. I could probably try to do this myself but I don't have knowledge in constructing an edm song, nor a taste for the genre.
@PhantomTracks Thanks for that great feedback! When making the song, I was not sure whether it would fall into the spooky-type genre, or an EDM genre, so I just titled it the way I did. I knew that it wasn't actually scary-sounding, otherwise I wouldn't have made it an EDM track, but I appreciate your view on the matter!
Dang, This is really nice. I just don't feel like it had a haunted/spooky/dark sound to it. It feels like whenever a see an edm song that the artist labels as dark/sad/angry/etc, it always makes me feel like they have the happiest possible concept of these emotions and attributes. The melodies for edm don't seem to ever have these feelings to me (this is all preference btw) and the up beat drums don't really help much either. SLOCM3z definitely seems like he got spooked tho. Maybe people who listen to edm hear and understand the moods. Besides all that this is really good.
