the midi region, go to the bottom and press the plus button with the music notes next to it, then find the channel you just made and double click on the grey region next to it, a blue midi region should pop up and a window for that region should appear also, if you double click anywhere on this window on the grey bit notes should appear, when you play back the notes should be played, you can create music by doing this instead of using samples only
Oh, I'm surprised you aren't like Nib....Well, since you're actually a pretty nice person, sure. Just take your time. You'll get there eventually. One tip I'll give though, is, try out making your own notes with the blue channels. Double-click on the note area to the right of a blue channel to make a music note clip, then double click that to open the midi keyboard and make notes. Experiment. :)
