How-to: Edit Studio Settings
You can change some of the behaviours of Soundation Studio through the Edit Settings window. Go to the Settings menu in the studio and then click Edit Settings
Buffer Size & Recording Buffer: The buffer size is a balance between latency and stability. You can read more in-depth about it here: Change Buffer Size
Move/Copy Automation Data: Sets the default behaviour when moving clips with underlying automation data. “Ask” is default and will give you a pop up each time where you can select what to do. “Always” will set it so underlying automation will always move/copy with a clip. “Never” will set it so underlying automation never follows a clip, meaning it will stay in place no matter what.
Open Library at Startup: Check or uncheck this box to set if the studio Library should be open or not when you launch the studio.
Open Virtual Keyboard at Startup: Check or uncheck this box to set if the Virtual Keyboard should be open or not when you launch the studio.
Recording input source: Here you select your default recording input from the available audio inputs of your computer. The “Default” option will use the default input you have selected in your computer sound settings.
Turbo Mode: Turning Turbo Mode on forces the Studio to work at highest possible capacity and CPU load to minimize glitching. Note that the Turbo Mode consumes more power so it’s not recommended to use it while working on battery only.
