VVV i feel
im tryna save for some actually hardware like a midi controller n shit. VST wise I can make do with stock and free plugins but id love to actually be able to just play what I'm writing as opposed to placing every indivudual note on the piano role.
I also agree with Trillan, he is very smart.
yeah, just like Trillan said, I have a chromebook and I'm trying to save up for a laptop. but it might be a while since until 6 more months I'm underage for almost every job I could get. at the same time, the money I do have might need to go towards a used car or other important things. but I support everyone leaving because soundation has limits and it's not really worth staying here without production being improved if you've reached close to your potential with one daw. also that's real shit @Noah Kammer is saying, good stuff.
I feel a lot of the people that are staying behind are only doing it because the can physically not get Ableton or FL onto their device. That's the situation I'm in right now, I use a chromebook provided to me by the school I'm currently going to. During summer when I won't have access to it, my parents will likely let me use an actually good windows device on which I will hopefully be able to use Ableton.
@noah exactly! @oscar yeah ik, ill back u up m8! @legion same
not even gonna lie i support you
The way I see it is no-one's ever made a successful long term career out of music if you don't enjoy it. Sure you can be a 1-hit wonder and make your million and fall off but, if that's the case the interest was never in making music, but money. The love of music leads to better creation. There is no way around it.
