http://soundation.com/group/post-your-party If this helps anyone, I made a group so that the Hangout invites wouldn't be floating around Soundation. This kind of gives a place for them, because I feel like I have to look hard for invites. I know that you could add a bunch of people to your circles and invite them, but I think the open invitation links sort of make it a little more accessible.

@Andreas: Do you mean five soundsets for the winning team, or five soundsets for one person? Or five soundsets each person? I guess I don't quite understand what you mean.
Andreas
@cyberbit. Great idea for a contest. If someone organizes this we will be happy to offer 5 soundsets for the winner and 1 soundset each for the 2nd and third runner up. All soundsets will be of the winners choice.

I have this idea for a contest. I wouldn't be able to organize it, but if someone else wants to, they can steal this. Two or more groups of up to 8 people each would be chosen. Each group would be given one hour to create a track based on chords, melody, beat, theme, or some other criteria. This common ground would be shared between the two groups via a moderator, who takes up the 9th possible user in each group. He shares the stuff, and starts the timer. At the end of the time, the tracks are published. Five judges grade each track, and the winning group gets a free soundset.
